Elio and Oliver - CMBYN Fan Art

A fan art of Oliver and Elio from my favorite book and film called "Call Me By Your Name", written by André Aciman and directed by Luca Guadagnino.

In this scene, Elio and Oliver had to bid their melancholic farewells to one another. This specific part moved me so much because of how the two characters are visibly already longing for each other despite not even leaving each other yet.

This traditional art piece was finished in a span of three days in my good ol' trusty yet perishing sketchpad and I believe it was my love and appreciation for the beautiful literature and film that inspired me to do so. It was not only until recently that I decided to add texture to the background using a couple of paint tools on Adobe Photoshop. Also, later on added a text which reads "It is better to speak or die?" a beautifully haunting line from the book and film.
In its original and unedited form using a red-colored lead pencil.
